    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have had two dragons living together as Female and Female for the last two years. I bought them from a private breader when they were about 6 month's old. Today I noticed that one of them ran down it's tree limb and bobbed it's head several times and then proceeded to jump on the back of the other dragon. He/or she then bit the neck area of the bottom dragon and road her back for a couple of seconds. Then the dragon on top moved it's tail under the bottom dragons tail, and since I breed Leopard Geckos, I'm sure that they were mating? Is it possible that two females would do this? I've tried to sex each of them, but I'm really not sure of what I'm looking at. They both seem to have the same size pores on their thigh's?

Any help with this strange day would be appreciated. :shrug01:

Here's my experience

I will say that females will definately do the male head bobbing and mounting the other as a display of dominance. A month ago I would have said that if the tail is raised and another one it mounting it from behind in an obvious breeding position then it would be a male/female, however, just within the last 3 weeks I have two females that take turns breeding each other and I have pictures of them doing it. I have sexed them repeatedly and they are females. When I put them around males they immediately take the female posture of submission and the males always try to breed them rather than fight them. It is the funniest thing to watch them but no signs of pregnancy or of being male. They are both over a year old so it would be easy to tell if they were male. Just as a reference I wouldn't put a lot of weight in the pore size. It would be better to check for hemipenes at the base of the tail.
