    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was taken some pics of my 3 new CB Tokays I aquired for for collection this morning. I'm still get used to a new camera and although the Tokays are very tame and handable they didn't appreciate a camera put 1-2 inches in front of their face(super macro) hence a couple teeth shots. Hope you enjoy these beautiful geckos.

Wow...great macro shots. Every tokay I've ever seen I wouldn't want to be that close! Glad to hear yours are actually calm for you. I love the first photo where you can see the curvy line in the eye
 
Thank You, been a while since I had a good camera. I have a bad prob of breaking them. Marcia, the camera is a Cannon Power Shot S2 IS I got my wife for Christmas. I actually made them a lot smaller to post

mine bite me every chance the get!!!! Mine ae definetely to look at and not touch. My neighbor has some really nice tame ones he bought in NY though.
 
I was vending at a show a few of years ago when a couple came up to my booth with their Tokays sitting up on their shoulders. Both geckos were on leashes, and extremely tame. I asked how they got them to be so calm, and they said that when they were juveniles they would handle them with thick gloves and just let them bite all they wanted to! Eventually, the geckos gave up...

Ya thats about how I work with them. As soon as they hatch I start handling them often. I never where gloves though, small Tokays and juvies don't hurt when they bite and they don't bite when their adults. last night I reached into my big tank and a new baby just sat there and let me pet it, thats unusual, normally i have to chase and catch them that young. I have quite a few I take out and they hang out on my shoulder at home, never taken them out any place though, Hmmmm.
