    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Which would be better to start with, a GTP or a ETB?or a ATB? do you guys have pictures of people holding adults for a size comparasin, Of the three which is the nicest and which is generally the nippiest?

Chris, of the three Emeralds are the largest, Amazons are long but thin animals and Chondro's are not as long as the other two but tend to be heavier built than Amazons. Of those three I'd say the ATBs are the nippiest but they have smaller heads so less damage is done if they nail you. You can find both extremes in all three. To start with your best bet of those three would be an Amazon they are the easier of the three to keep. If you search this forum you'll find more info on them.

You may want to consider some of the other tree boas like the Solomon Island tree boas or the Waiego Island tree boas. They are smaller and don't seem to want to take a taste of you. I've kept ETBs, ATBs and GTPs for years and just recently got into the Solomons and Waiego's, nice easy going animals that can be handled day or night. It can be difficult finding CBB babies (these guys have very small babies) but I think it might be the best tree snakes for you to start with. Randy

I agree, ATBs are hardy and much more forgiving of keeper error than GTPs or ETBs
