    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ROCKIN! I'll take the one in the second pic. When can I expect her?

Amazing, Matt. Did you produce them yourself? If so, could you post pics of the parents? Also, how did you incubate? How old are they?

I'm sure you can read into my questions -- I'm curious how much of those amazing colors come from the parents and how much from incubation temps? I remember quite a while back we all wondered/debated how many of the awesome animals sold by RT and maybe others were color-hyped by the incubation temps, and how much of that color would pass to the offspring if they were incubated using normal methods.

Thanks for your help, those are gorgeous geckos!!! That tail on the first one is soooo awesome and fat. It kinda reminds me of a Queen song. She's got JT. :hehe:

WOW!!! Those are awesome, Matt! Are those from Alberto's stock? It's great to see you post again... and I missed you at the Sacramento Show!

Are those from Alberto's stock?

id bet the farm on that one!

I remember quite a while back we all wondered/debated how many of the awesome animals sold by RT and maybe others were color-hyped by the incubation temps

now incubation temps are supposed to be linked to the orange coloration? how?! higer incubation temps are linked to the brightness of the white but ive never heard its linked to the orange. what evidence is there to back this up?

Thanks Guys,

Yeah Marcia, I missed the show I was bummed.............. I had to work. But I will be going to Daytona this year, so that makes me happy :) I did produce these myself about 3 months ago, from the geckos I got from Alberto. They where incubated at 86 degrees and I hatched mostly females. I also keep a 90 degree hot spot on them at all times, otherwise they will darken. The first picture is the father, the second picture is the mother of the first holdback, and the third picture is the mother of the second holdback.

Here's a picture of that third gecko, before I got her. See, when I first got these geckos I did not know that they had to be kept so warm. This female really darkened but after keeping her warm she seemed to regain some of the white. I do think genetics are more of an influence than the incubation temps, but both play a factor.
