    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is there a way that I can get my user name changed and keep my two feedback comments? I've have this name for many years, and I'm just really tired of it. Don't know why I registered under it. Probably just routine.

Anyway, it's not a big deal if it can't be done. I was just curious.

It can be done, but it is a manual process that I have to do. I am only extending this courtesy to Contributor members. It takes time out of my day to do it, so I feel this should be reserved for those members who are putting a little extra into the financial support of this site.
 
I was planninbg on asking the same thing.

If its not too difficult I would like to have my old posts and feedback swapped over (minus the warning points ;-).

If this can easily be done, please do so at your convienience.
 
Al, sorry but I cannot combine the stats for multiple user names. You should have asked. I could have changed your registered name for you. As it stands now, you are pretty much stuck.

I really don't encourage people to have multiple logon names as it just confuses things for people. Unless you have a rock solid reason for having multiple names, it is probably best not to do it. But I really don't go out of my way to track down people and dun them for it......
 
Sorry about that Rich. I never thought I would get this involved or make it as far as I have as far as reptiles, and the only reason I made another ID is to get my business recognized (not being able to log in at work also played a small part). This is why I added the realvenum tag to this ID.

Will this be ok as it stands?
