    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I will be in the Conroe, Texas area June 12th-15th for the Venomous Expo to see some hots up close, as they are mostly illegal to keep in Colorado. Owning hots is a dream of mine that I am working towards, and I'd also like to go herping. (I would greatly appreciate herping locations near Conroe with lots of herp activity.) This is a big ask, but I was curious if someone who keeps hots (I would love to see an elapid collection) would be able to give me a room tour one of the days I am there. I would love to share my experience working with defensive reptiles and hots. I would appreciate it if someone would get to know me beforehand, and if my experience checks out, I would love to clean a cage, though an in person tour would be just fine if at all possible. Please let me know with any feedback from the community!
