In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Vipers on the way..

Wow, nice. I don't think I ever see those available in America.

I know that there is some people breeding the species. But, it is not too common.. Not as in Europe, at least.

Hopefully there will be juveniles in time for the Terraristika in Hamm, Germany..

I have a captive bred pair of V. ammodytes that were produced in the United States. They are not common but if you have the right connections you can get them.

Good luck with your's as well.

Thanks boys..

Yeah.. Erk2, I think that your right.

They can easily be found for sale in the Hammshow in Germany though.

Yes they are absoloutly more popular in Europe.
I do have a couple Vipera sp. including ammodytes and xanthia as well as Daboia (formerly Vipera) palestinae

All very nice species to work with..

I also keep Gloydius halys caraganus and Vipera orlovi. Currently looking for Vipera nikolskii and Macrovipera schweizeri.. A pair of Vipera albizona would also be nice..

Outcome of the first mating:

8 slugs and three babies.. 1.2. I will keep the female, but the males will be for sale..

Interesting...here, in the States, 1.2 would be 1 male, 2 females. something to file away, in case I ever choose to import something
