In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would recommend a 40 gallon breeder, or a Longer Vision or Boaphile, since they are fairly active snakes and have the possibility to get quite long.

Welcome to the Fauna community, Glad you decided to join us.

I agree w/ Alicia , a 40-55 gal aquarium or enclosure similar in size.
If you get one as a baby or juvenile start out with a smaller enclosure at first.
Bullsnakes can grow to an average of about 5'-6' , some may even exceed that.

I'am in the process of building a 4' by 2' by 2.5' viv would this be big enough

That sounds good to me, whatre you making it out of? ( if you dont mind me asking)
And will you show us pics of the final Product!? ^_^

Good luck on that tank! hope it goes well for you!

I'm making it of white conti board and i would like to show you pics but i don't have a camera

Yeah it's exactly the same. my mam says that the tank is too big so would 4x1.4x2.5 be big enough

bump

please guys i need an answer cos my mam is pressuring me to make it smaller

Floor space is what really matters. You could reduce the height to a foot. If you do that, will she let you go back to the 4x2 base?

Yes, floor space is the important part. I would not go smaller than 4X2 for an adult Bull/Pine. As mentioned above, height is less important (about 12-15 inches will be fine). If you have to start with a smaller enclosure, you may want to start out with younger snake.
