    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone done business with VMS Herp recently, and if so how was it? I read a couple good reviews on them, so I sent them an email inquiring about one of their snakes and they just aren't replying. They also don't provide a phone number to call to get in touch with them. Are they still in business..?
 
VMS is still in business.
Am surprised that you have not received a reply.
OTOH If you sent an email, today (weekend), it is possible that you may not get a response until Monday/weekday.
I have done business, over the years, with VMS/Sean. Never a problem and animals received were great. Should the day come along, I wouldn't hesitate to do business, with VMS/Sean, again.

ive purchased from sean @ vms many of times and his animals are top notch and very detailed genetics.
He does not offer a phone number as it says in the site info that its and online bussiness so phone calls are unnessasary and in my experiance with our transactions a phone call was just that i recieve dthe exact animal pictured
If you sent an email wait to hear from him till monday as weekends most bussinesses dont reply.
 
Sean is one of the best in the business... but like all of us, he gets really busy and tries to have a life outside of reptiles on occasion. Give him a chance to reply.
 
I've bought three snakes from him, and all I have nothing but good to say about everything. His website has a ton of great information on the animals in general and about the specific animal you are buying. All three of my guys are doing exceptionally well, great eaters, healthy, etc. I'm sure you will get a reply on monday.
 
I have ordered around 10 or so leopard geckos from VMS. When I was breeding leopard geckos they were one of my main sources for information and for buying animals. They were always great to work with and I always got quick responses and received my order promptly. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
 
When we were first researching breeders my husband and I contacted VMS but after emailing 3 times over the course of a few weeks the email I got back was very curt. I ended up going to a different breeder who was more than happy to help us. We ended yp spending $260 on a male he had. If you can't provide service with alittle compassion then I'll take my money elsewhere (forever).
