    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looking for a young Goffin Cockatoo or African Grey Congo... We are located in Chico California and we would love to find one around here, but it seems near impossible... We are willing to drive quite a ways, and we are willing to have the right bird shipped to us. If you know any good breeders or if you just are looking for a great home for a bird you can't keep... Please let us know! Thanks!
 
You can try DjFeathers; they have some nice birds. You will have to get on the waiting list, but otherwise the ones they have (African Grey's) they have already sold.
 
Bobbi Alley at B&G Aviaries produces some of the nicest Congo Greys in the northeast (obviously pretty far from California but she does sometimes ship). You might want to check out her website. I also know that she sometimes sells birds to NERD/Zoo Creatures in Plaistow, NH, which might by itself be considered a kind of endorsement. I also got a very nice Grey from her three years ago. The bird is very tame and has an extensive vocabulary. I hand-raised that one.
