    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok, here we go. I keep only 7-8 adult ball females. 4 adult males. All bred as usual this past winter and spring ( Dec-Mar). 1 didn't take( she is back to eating and no ovulation or signs of anything other than not bred),2 laid, 1 to lay yet... now... 3 proven females. They ate like pigs for about 30 days, went off feed in late March. They are all 3 wrapping the water dish.. but there is no sign at all they are carrying eggs. Thin in the belly area, Never saw an ovulation.. due to youngsters coming up, was going to sell 2 of the 3.. after they laid.. but all refuse food, wrap water dish.. and are proven.. Temps are 90 warm side, 85 cool side ( Sterlite 41 qt containers). Hate to sell them and then they lay.. none of my females have ever read the book about laying eggs.. have had some go over 55 days after the shed before they laid...
What would you all do? These are morph females bred to morph males...

I would wait another two months. Sometimes a female will delay sperm implantation. I have seen Female bred from October - February lay in November. There is still a chance that they may be or become gravid.
