In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What cage is everyone using for the arboreals?

Come on help me make my mind up..Im drivin myself crazy here..lol

i keep my jcp in a vision
and soon as i get atb's in a couple months ill get visions for them as well

Thats what I use to for my boas and Bp's but for some reason I like watching these guys..They seem to have a personality or mabey just a hugh stomach..lol

i use to use all top opening cages as well
but i found with all my snakes it was more stress than needed and most wouldnt eat till put in stackable cages
i do have a few in racks but will soon switch over to all vision

arboreal cages

I know a lot of people have posted dissappointment with Boaphile Plastics sometimes lacking in email responses, etc...

But my experience with them was fabulous and I absolutely LOVE my front access cage...visually it is pleasing, I chose black and it really shows off my emerald tree boas nicely...

Cage has full-length front window/door, weighs very little (I can move it myself, and that makes life a lot easier), the dual vents work great for my needs, my temps are easier to maintain (love their heat panels), holds my hydroponic pot for the ficus (drilled my own extra slot for the cords in port hole slider door), has two removeable perches, I could go on...I am very happy with it, and Joel has always been timely and great with his email response to me...

I am considering purchasing a stack from them for my corns just because I like the cages and they are so much easier to clean and maintain than my melamines. I'd recommend you check them out, tell them I sent you...

Email me directly if you want a pic, happy to obllige...

Cage Prices

CAge prices vary due to quanity but one will cost you 250 and 15 for optional acrylic purches. They have 3/8 inch acrylic fronts and drawers to prevent warping, and the drawers are perfect for any substrait even water. I just couldent stand cleaning those damn visions any longer, now I just dump and rinse snake stays sleeping and I dont bleed..

thanks

very very nice... I cant build anything..lol..I pretty much have to buy. I have plenty of ideas in my head of cages I would love to build but dont really have the skills to do so...

Any one have any plans for building a cage for 2 amazon tree boas? I love them and I want to build a cage rather than purchase. I have ply wood, 2x4s and glass.

Most of my snakes (JCP, ETBs, BRBs, etc) are housed in 5'L X 2'H X 2' D wooden cages with glass doors...

Home made acrylic cages.

With all the money i invest in my ETBs i dont have much to invest in propper housing.I decided to make my own acrylic tanks.I get sheets of Acrylic from
Interstate Plastics.(Just google the name). You can make a tank worth a couple grand for under 200 bucks. All mine have a foot of soil and live tropical plants covering the bottom.Ive put some of the meanest Emeralds in my tanks and after a month they dont mind being handled at all.You dont need alot of money to make a perfect home for your arborials, just need some immagination. If my wife lets me buy a new camera ill post some of my Arborial condos.

Here are the cages I built. A total of 4 stacked on top of each other... All have droors, double doors, and are 36" x 23" x 24" with radiant heat panels and Helix thermostats.

Comments are welcome...
