    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What do you think these guys are?

Ok, I pretty much know what I have here... I think. But a lot of people have been telling me different things, so I figure I'll ask all of you. Please post your own opinion describing these pythons I just picked up... I welcome all comments... thanks so much.

They look like beautiful Jungle Carpet Pythons to me. :) I love their patterns; they're very unique looking. Where did you get them?

Believe it or not, I found them at a local pet shop... I just grabbed them cause I thought they were really nice... got a good deal too! :thumbsup:

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep them, sell them, or trade them... they are really cool looking, but I really don't specialize in carpets... I dunno... we'll see... I'm in no rush to get rid of them... I like them a lot. I guess it depends on how tempting a trade would be from someone.... ;)

By the way, they are chow hounds too!!! :)

Notice how one has an "open back" pattern, while the other is more tiger striped...

Nice

Wow, what a GREAT pet shop find! :thumbsup: I just love the head pattern on the one in the third pic; it's so unique looking... :) Are they a male/female pair?

I'm not sure... They are supposed to be. I probed both and both went pretty deep, but it's my understanding that carpet females sometimes probe pretty deep... more than other snakes that probe 2-3 scales... I'm more of a chondro/emerald guy and those are no brainers to probe.

Ravensgait might be stopping by my place this weekend to help me probe them. He has more experience with carpets than me...

I like the one with the less black on it's head... that's the one with the tiger stripes... but I still like both... :)
