In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What do you think?

looks like 5-6 eggs to come, to me. good luck!

thank you Bradley!! And yes it was (though unfortunately only 4 eggs...wait, FORTUNATELY she had eggs!)

1 hour and 44 minutes later we had 3 eggs with the 4th to come in less than 15 minutes--

This clutch weighed in at 392 gm. The largest egg alone weighed 132.

The main reason I asked was: 2 years ago I made the mistake and thought this was an ovulation---in fact I was excited because I was sure. I was very surprised the next day when there were 6 eggs presented to me.

cool. i didn't think it was an ovulation, because the eggs were packed so close to the vent. i've got a spider that just ovulated and the PLS should be today to tomorrow. hopefully i'll get at least 4 healthy ones too. :)

Congratulations, Bree! Those are some pretty Easter eggs you have there. And great job, Ziva!

Ziva did really well, though I have to give kudos to Poko too.....he prolapsed a hemipene during breeding after this corkscrew

And thank you, Tere! I love Easter Eggs...specially this kind!

Nice eggs! I hoe to see my sider lay one day!

Thank you Alonso!! I am so happy she did lay, I bred my spider male last year and got not one clutch from him.....he's breeding again this year and seems to have the idea at least.... Since she's spider, I'm pretty well assured I will (hope hope hope) get at least 1 spider if not more....though.. Never know!

Can't wait to see your spider's clutch when it happens! :yesnod:

Ooops missed this-- I was pretty sure this year due to her bulging vent, but since I'm no expert and still learning right and left...didn't want to hope--of course I've been taking maternity pictures of her for months so.....it is all well documented! lol

Can't wait to see your clutch! Whee!

Those eggs look like they've got some weight to them....congrats Susan!!:thumbsup:

Hey John! Thank you!!!! I'm hoping the babies do too, tho the overall clutch weight wasn't huge I guess.

Any one have any clues where I can find information on average egg weight as it compares to hatchling weight? This was the first time I actually weighed my clutch and singulars so it was interesting!

Congrats and good luck, fun fun :)

Thank you Jerry! It is fun! Now waiting....not so much fun!

Well right after I read this--- just had another clutch laid so I weighed them each 96 g to 104 g. So spot on Jerry-- hoping to be able to tell who is who appx. Nice fat eggs and Mommy is doing well! (Nl x Mojave)

Ty for the info!
