• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

what is it.

i've bin going to my friend's house for a while and almost every time we lift this huge old solar panel there is a skink and the weird thing is that it is very dry,warm and infested with carpenter ants and roaches.i would like to know what they are.since then we only saw two species but both had blue tails and they were pretty small but very aggressive.I only spotted the coloring on one of the skinks it had 3 red lines going from its head to the base of the tail and had a small blue tail.i hope u know what it is if so please reply back :) .

We have those around here....DeVackHerps is right, it is a common blue tailed skink. they are also not to friendly. And they LOVE dry/warm places (we find them under old boards and our wood supply all the time) and my best bet is that they are eating the insects under the solar panel. =3

yeah i thought so. you are right because my friend picked it up and it tried biting him lol :rofl: . but,do you know of any skinks in florida that are nice i found about 3 shiny black skinks in my school and they sat perched up on the wall but if u know my answer.

rusty-s :)

Does he look like this, if so then it is a southeastern 5 line skink, also commonly refered to as a blue tail skink.
