In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So I started with a lot of females but now I need a male. I dont know which way to go. But I want to stay from recessive since I have a few already. NO PIEDS

I currently have the following snakes.

0.1 Killerbee
0.1 Honeybee
0.1 Spider
0.1 Leopard
0.1 Pinstripe
1.1 H Blk Axanthic
1.1 H Desert ghost
1.0 Clown
1.0 Enchi
1.0 Lesser
1.0 Cinny

And few Pastel and normal girls

Some of the morphs Im thinking of are Super Fire and or some combo of fire. (I like the firefly axanthic)

I originally got the leopard as a male but turned to be a female. (Really hoping to make Bumblebee Leos). So now im back at square 1

I am looking for a morph that will lighten up and clear the pattern. I think with fire and DG it may happen but is there any morph you guys can think of that will look great on Axanthics? I like to keep to the dark side of the spectrum. I am for some reason attracted to the dark morphs. I want to get a GHI but dont think it will happen anytime soon.

Or do you guys feel that when you invest in morphs you should plan off the offspring of the planned breeding?

Either way could use some opinions for my next purchase.

I personally would add some double gene males instead of single gene. Females can be single all day long but you'll get more return using double or triple gene males. I would also consider looking into maybe a fire spider, pastel mystic, or maybe a black pewter(pastel x black pastel). Super black pastel is about as dark as they get until you start adding pattern.

I agree with Tonya. I picked my future breeders for their morphs and genetic potential with each other. It's important to work with what you like and want to eventually produce. I have a 3.7 ratio of triple gene males and double gene females. This gives me good odds of getting a variety of multi gene offspring. My males have compatible genetics with multiple females, which is important in my small collection.

I think a fire or yellow belly combo male would be good for you. If you get a firefly male you stand a chance of getting a lot of offspring that is super pastel along with any other genes. Fire hidden gene woma would really open up your potential multigene offspring. Now if you want to produce anything down the road like super stripe, puma, hiway, you must have yellow bellies. They make great combos on their own. You may be able to find a fire yellow belly male or if your pocket allows a yellow belly firefly. These both have very good value in your collection for holdbacks, sales, and trades.
