    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you had three snakes, a female crystal and a pair of het pieds, and a budget of $125 what would you look for/buy?

Alternately, if you had those same three snakes and an unlimited budget what would you look for/buy?

Hey, I might win the lottery who knows.
 
For 125 i would look for something that you can expand your BEL complex with. Mojave, lesser, butter, mocha, phantom or mystic. For 125 you even might be able add pastel or spider to one of those if you find the right breeder or hobbyist.
Unlimited budget, i would pick up a bamboo or a bongo. I also believe they are in the BEL complex as well. Good luck, hope you hit the lottery:D

First off, how big are your snakes? Next what snakes do you really like and would want to make? Next how many snakes do you plan on having maximum?
 
Having those three snakes, and budget must be no more than $125 (plus it had to be only one snake), I would pick up either a male Mojave, Special (if lucky), Black Pastel, Enchi, or other monetarily cheap Co-dom (that I like), to breed, or eventually breed, to the Crystal. Another benefit, of a Co-dom male, is that he can be bred, to the het Pied female (if the het Pied pair are not put together), and have the possibility of not getting all Normal offspring.

It would be much more difficult to decide, with a limitless budget (and if purchase had to be only one snake), because possibilities are nearly limitless and I love so many different morphs.;)
 
Chrisis I had to google "bongo ball python". �� funny name aside, why would that be the BP you'd get if your budget is unlimited?
 
Well it is pretty new so not much has been combined with it yet. I really like what it does when combined with cinamon. Even tho black pastel is close i want to see that combo. There is just so much to be created yet, pretty amazing.

Ok so the pair is set so you don't need to think about those. Since your crystal girl won't be breeding this season I would get another female. You can find deals on one in a direction you want to go. Next year you can save up and buy a male with three genes or more that you can pair to both and maybe others you may get. It makes more sense to get your females going since it takes them longer and the males will drop more in price before you need them. As for unlimited budget, I would get a scaleless or sunset because these are completely untapped and very extremely cool
