    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What type of set up do you have for your dragons for outside play?

I have been enjoying taking my beardie outside in the warm sun for very short periods of time, and i wanted to be able to set something safe up that he could hang out in and enjoy the pretty weather. i would of course be closely monitoring him. i just dont want to put a leash on him.

would a rubbermaid container be tall enough for him not to jump out of?
what do yall do to allow your beardies to enjoy the spring sunshine?

Depending on the size of your dragon and his athletic ability it's possible for him to jump out.

I'm going to be building a screened enclosure to put some dragons in for some summer sun this spring. The screen will keep out lightning bugs and protect them from other harms such as birds and the local stray cat. That way I can walk inside and answer the phone without having to worry about them. I'm not quite sure about how I'm going to build it but I have some ideas I'm kickin around.

Whatever you choose make sure there is a shaded area so they can escape the heat and cool down if needed. :)

i have a big fat two year old male dragon.
he is big, you may be right about him being able to hop out!
thanks for the tips.
see ya

You can try the little blue baby pools too. They only run about $6. and are easy to clean.
If you put it on a slight incline, you can add a bit of water for them to cool off and play in. Put nothing on the bottom though - they are slippery plastic and it prevents escapes.

Do not leave your dragons unattended without some screening or such on the top though. Large birds and/or free roaming cats in the neighborhood could mean disaster.
