    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok so I've been slowly working my way up to bigger reptiles and just got permission to get a bigger snake ounce are sheds built :) I'm looking for something around 8 to 12 feet any more and for one person I think would be a pretty big struggle for me. It also needs to have a relatively good temper as I have a plan to take it to educational shows at schools. Please help me find something in this area if there is anything :)

Female dumerils boa, they don't get quite 8' but they are thick so they feel big.
Papuan Python
Pure or high percentage super dwarf reticulated python.
Female BCC can get up to 8'.

I've seen Dumerils over 9' before but knowing the shop they were in, they were probably power fed. Regarding good temper, you would most likely be better off with boa than a retic. Another boa species I didn't see mentioned yet is an argentine boa. They can be quite large and impressive and have a really nice dark coloration with a white lace type pattern. Google 'argentine boa full grown' :)

I'm sorry I do not know anyone to recommend, the person I knew got out of the hobby quite a few years back.

Use the search function on this site to see if anyone is currently advertising any, and then check their BOI rating to see if they are reputable.

Alternatively put a "Wanted" add in the Boas buying and selling forum.

Ok so i did a liitle more research on the argentine boa and a lot of poeple were saying they can be temperamental. I finally figured out what bcc stands for and i think its perfect from what i have read so far, the last thing i want is for a kid to get bit and im on the five O'clock news.
