In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello all. I am writing wondering at what age a female bearded dragon can actually safely mate and lay eggs. I have read up on many sites to wait until one and a half to two years of age. However.... I see all kinds of female dragons that are posted for sale from 10 to 11 months of age (and some from reputable breeders actually) and saying that they will be ready to breed by summer, which at longest could only make them 13-14 months of age (by end of summer). Now I am not saying they are wrong whatsoever, and if anybody that does do that reads this post I am just simply looking for actual information and any help is greatly appreciated. I am in no way trying to hate. I am just curious:shrug01: because I am getting into breeding them to and have found some nice younger females (6-10 months) that I have been very interested in for my green trans het hypo male. He is just about ready and I am looking to get a nice female for him. I just would like to know whether to actually wait the full year and a half or just over a year. I am aware that not all are good for breeding and of size/weight requirements and everything else. I know the females lay a clutch of slugs without breeding for the first time (not all females of course). Does that signal when they are ready if they do happen to do that? Sorry for going on and on. I am just extremely curious that's all. Once again any help is greatly appreciated and it would help clarify alot of things for me. Possibly others too that read this post.

18 months atleast 350 grams thats the standard i was shown
i would think the absolute min would be 300 grams but you always take a chance with an undersized female laying too young can hurt future breeding (and the dragon)so its always better to wait make sure there fat and healthy dont want to stress them out if they are not ready
