    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Where did they come from???...

I have -10 rep points and I dont' know how or why they are there...other than that they are linked to a post that I made... Is there any way to find out who gave them to me or to refute them? I don't believe the post they are "linked" to should have earned me these points...I was not being mean or foul-mouthed or anything like that...
 
If you support Fauna by becoming a member, you will be able to see who took any actions for/against your points.
 
Stay tuned. It's still being looked into. As Webslave said - even the programmers aren't sure how it works! It's the programming equivalent to the theory of relativity.
 
lol...I can handle a wait :) It's just frustrating to have a negative rep and not know why its there!

What Lucille meant was a "Contributor" not a "Member". I am gradually adding perks to those people who have become contributing members and widening the gulf between them and just regular members here. See that Contributors icon? Notice the member names highlighted in blue in the list on the front page of the forums showing actively viewing members? Those are all people who have contributed to this site and been placed into a different membership group accordingly.

Contributing members can see who posted reputation points, whereas regular members only see the points, but not who posted them.
