In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Which is your absolute favorite milksnake?

I have to vote Pueblan. Those sure are pretty animals! =)

(I had four photos on my desktop -- Apricot Pueblan, Tangerine Honduran, Sinaloan, and Mexican. I asked my wife which one she liked the best. She said she liked the "plastic toy snake" the best. She was talking about the Apricot Pueblan. Guess they do look a little fake, huh? LOL)

I am going with sinaloan...I have a bunch of them and I like 'em! Although black milks have a neat sheen to them, kinda plain but neat to look at.

LOL. I read that quickly as "Which is your absolute favorite milkshake?" I guess I know where my mind is at.

I put Hondurans, especially my Tangerine's.
I really love Orange in snakes. Tang. Hondurans, Blair's phase alterna, Fluorescent Orange and sunglow Corns, Orangish more than reddish BRB, and top of the line (vivids etc.) Orange thayeri, etc. etc.

had to be sinaloans...took care of my teacher's in 8th grade and had to have at least one as I started collecting snakes...nice guy held onto them for me for months until I moved and got settled
though my teacher called them cal kingsnakes at the time and it took a while to determine what they were...mine aren't as used to being handled yet but getting better...great little ones

Sinaloans. Far and away it's Sinaloans. There is just something about the pattern that is standard issue as well as some of the aberrants that pop up. They've got great personalities, don't get ginormous and are really bright and alert.

Them's the bestest.

Love them. They've been around so long and are relatively cheap so they get overlooked. But I love the nice wide bright bands. Sinaloans were actually the first snake I owned "Commercially" or anotherwords, bought rather than caught.

It may sound strange by I really like Annulatas and Celanops.

It is probably due to the fact that I live close to their home ranges and finding a snake in the field is always more special than buying one. :)

I had to vote Red but it does depend on the locality I suppose. I bought a mate for my female sight unseen and I did not like it at all. I ended up selling him without attempting to breed them. I do like the Pales and the Utahs as well but I have never seen a live one of either so I couldn't vote simply on pictures.

For me it's a toss up between the albino nelsoni and the gaigae. If the nelsoni grew to be 5'--6' long, the nelsoni would easily win the toss up!

I love the nelsoni. Great little snakes.
The black milks are definately one of my favorites though. The really big colubrids are impressive, and i like the solid black color.
Whatever happened to the pumpkin sinaloans? I remember first seeing them around 1998 and really wanted some of them, but they just sort of disappeared.

I voted for the coastal plains...

... though I wish the mountain kings were included in this. I keep Tarahumara Mountain Kings.

ya can't beat seeing a celanops

in the wild road cruising at night in west Texas. Freaking candy cane crossing the road. But my gentilus isn't to shabby out here in western Kansas either. Try a classic red from the Huntsville Alabama area ! Knock your socks off ! LOL !

I am a lurker to this site and have found that the Albino Nelson's are my favorite. I finally bought one today - it's for my 2 year old. The name is yet to be determined as we do not know the sex. My 4 year old has a snow motley.
