In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I want to get some stripes, but Im not sure if I should get bold stripes, or red stripes...
Which gene is stronger? I want to mix the stripe into my projects, but I want the most colorful, and more standout gene.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
What type of gene is the red stripe and the bold stripe as well?
Codom, dom, recessive, line bred???

Hi Michael-

The bold stripes I am working with appear to work similar to a recessive trait (I'm not saying they are, just saying that's how they breed and pass on the trait). The red stripes seem to work the same way, like a recessive.

There are some line bred stripes out there as well though.

Thanks Kelli.
I think Im going with the red stripes.
At the next White Plains show Im going to go hunting for a tremper albino stripe. Breed with my hybino and I could make some hybinos het for stripe, and see if I can't get striped hybinos quicker than I thought I could've...

heh I saw some, and they were killer.
Im defenitely hoping to pick up a nice striped albino though, because then Id be real close to getting my striped hybinos, I mean I could produce hybino het stripes, and plan out some breedings thatd give me visable hybino stripes. Could be hit or miss on them, depends.

I guess I got to beat you there so I can get first pick! :)

heh seems like you are a lot closer than I am... Unless I go down saturday night!!
ahh, there'll be plenty of things for me to chose from when I get there though, it's a good show, the best one I can go to regularly anyways...
