    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

why are my beardies suddenly not mating?

i started out with 3 beardies. male and 2 female. i had 3 clutches. i got excited and went out and blew 4 grand on high end beardies and sweet setups. now it has been about 6 months, some have gone through brumation but i have not yet had any babies from them. i have them in big tanks with play sand and use the uvb mercury lights. feed them superworms, occasional pinks, and greens with all the vitamins and calcium. ive tried putting two males together to spark a little dominancy. NOTHING. could they have all turned gay or what?!!? if anyone has a suggestion or knows what im doin wrong or if im just an idiot and not doin a totally simple something. thanks. . .JON R

Just as with people, they have lost the fire. I would cycle them again and try at a later time. Keeping them together longer isn't going to get them to breed. :)

Perhaps a little candlelight and soft music would help. ;)

But seriously........what Matt said.

I think Matt has the answer. Brumate them over the winter and start over in the spring. Keeping them together is not the answer. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
