Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If anyone out there has a good detailed care sheet that pays particular attention to the breeding regimen i.e cooling cycling introduction etc... could you please point me towards it or E-Mail me a copy?

I havent personally bred womas, but have spoken with alot of people recently about them as I had some babies for sale from another breeder. Many of them told me to keep them and breed them myself. To a man, they all said they were very easy to produce with, very similar to burms. What that means I dont know, as I havent worked with burms either (Im a boa guy) but from the number of baby burms I see every year, to me that means they are pretty easy.

On a side note, another buddy has a adult pair of womas (actually the parents to the babies I got) that he obtained a few months ago. He said they cooled them and placed them together about 3 weeks ago (not sure how long he cooled them, but I can ask him, or give you his email if you want). He said he has allready seen action from them. This again leads me to believe they are easy.

Hope this helps a little, but if not sorry to waste your time. I myself tried to find woma care info and wasnt very succesfull either.

Woma care sheet

You can look up woma care on VPI's website, Don Hamper's website or get a copy of "The Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and Boas" by Richard Ross and Gerald Marzec. It was published in 1991 and is the bible for breeding and keeping boids. I have a copy I just paid $140.00 for in hardback. There are paperback versions for about $20.00 on KS. I have 5 womas from breeding adults to 03' babies. My adults have been copulating since September and my female has already gone through the pre ovulatory swell. I am waiting to see her getting big again before I put in a nestbox. Hope this helps, David
