In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I cannot find much info on Woma Pythons... I was looking into getting one (not until april), so I have plenty of time to get as much studying in as possible. I was just wondering what info you all could give me. Care sheets would be especially helpful.
Thanks,
Mike.

Mike,

Womas are relatively easy to take care of as far as pythons go. They are gentle and personable. I really enjoy mine.

Average room humidity is fine. A water bowl is a must for drinking though the only time I have seen one soak is when my female was getting ready to ovulate. They'll eat anything, as often as you'll feed them. I feed hatchlings every 4-5 days, yearlings once a week, and adults every 2-4 weeks (the males less often, the females more, especially after oviposition). They are ground dwellers so I don't use a perch. They grow fast so if you get a young snake be ready for a 5-6 foot adult within a couple of years.

Breeding is like most other pythons. IN a nutshell, cool them in the late fall/early winter, warm them, feed them, introduce them, and wait for eggs. It is not always that simple, but they do breed well.

I have heard that, but if it is true, I would bet it is only true of snakes that occur in their natural range in Oz. Anyone with more knowledge on this care to answer?
