In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK, I cant talk right now. Too excited for that. The deal is, Aurora is popping as we speak. I caught her in the middle at 3:20 pm. There are quite a few slugs, but I see some live ones too. And two for sure I am certain are crushed by MOM. :( That really sucks.

Will fill ya'll in later with the results.

Rick

Congratulations!! I'm glad to hear that this mess hasn't ended up being a total loss. Can't wait to see some pics of the babies.

Alright!!! Sweet deal Rick, except the crushed ones. Now we need pics!!!!

I would expect nothing less of Myself. :D
I am so jazzed right now. This is an amazing experience. It took Me a while to grab My camera I was so excited/worried. LOL

So You want a head count eh? OK there are 13 live healthy looking albino babies, and one live one that I don't think will make it. :( Something wrong, not absorbing yolk, and eyes are FEEAAKKKYYY. So thats 14 live, could have been 16 but mom did 2 of them in, ( :bawling: ) 13 slugs, 2 still born that did not fully develope, one of thos is just a mushy blob, the other is just a tiny little still born, not done cooking yet or something.
So if you count the 2 stillborns, the 2 crushed ones and the 13 slugs, it could have been 31. For Her first time mating, I dont think that's too bad. :D

The crushed ones. One of them had the freaky eye thing going on too. What's up with that?

A close up of the one in ICU with the eyes like an alien or something.....

What do you make of the eyes? It does not react to My movement like the others. wondering if it is blind. Guess we'll wait and see if it makes it.

Will post some more after they shed, and I choose which ones I am keeping for Me. I'll keep ya'll updated on the runts progress too.
Right now I am preparing to drop off the DOA for necropsy in the morning. And I'll have Aurora looked at while I'm there.

Maybe one lucky member will get a smokin deal on one of these. If the little one does not make it, that would make 13 live, and it's kinda hard to split that in half. So If I sold one, I would just send Luis His half of the sale, and we'll split the dozen.
:dgrin: :dgrin: How does an even buck sound? MWAA HAA HA HA HA HA

WOW! So many replies and views so fast. Thanks for the congrats. Cant wait till My next one. Should have My sunglow then. :D Then Tim wont have any doubt as to who is doing the yelling. :raspberry

I really don't think that "Peepers" is going to make it. :( Poor little thing is so scrawny, and I have noticed 3 times now, it gaping for breath. This really sucks. I hate to see an animal suffer, and I am half tempted to euthanize it. Man, it's such a bummer to be able to do nothing more than offer a warm hide, and wait. :bawling: :bawling:

Another one seems to be doing fine, but did not absorb its yolk either. Is this common place? I know some breeders don't even allow them to absorb before they disconnect and seperate, but I believe it's that way for a reason. Just curious.

Thanks again for the congrats everyone. I could not imagine a more pleasing experience. Unless it was coming up with some new morph or something. HA HA

Let them keep their yolk sacs. They need the yolk, it is vital nutirients for their growth. They are babies and are not going to eat until after they shed. They should suck in all that yolk within a day and be fat until they shed.

Glad it all worked out for you Rick. Some nice looking babies man and seems like your girl is doing good.
Glad your part in this ugly experience is done and over with.My opinion is you handled yourself great and i agree with the choices you made here.
Good job buddy

Yeah, I have left them attached. It's just funny that two of them have not gone down at all, while the rest are only trailing the reamining dregs. That's more what I meant to say. Most soaked them up right away, some a little longer. But those two.........

Thanks Todd. :D I am pretty happy at the moment. Or at least a little proud. LOL I am glad there are some viable young from it. 7 Yrs before She proves, but on first try. :D
