In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You call it - just for fun

The pairing is black pewter (GC line x blonde) x black pewter (IanG line x ?).
There are 6 eggs.
The 9 possibilities are:
Normal
Pastel
Black Pastel
Black Pewter
Super Pastel
Super Black Pastel
Super Pastel Black Pastel
Pastel Super Black Pastel
Super Pastel Super Black Pastel

What do you think will come out of the eggs??

The clutch is trying to confuse me - half are well dented, and looking like it won't be long; half are still fairly full looking. I'm guestimating that they're in the 50-55 day range; so they should start within 2 weeks.

Sooooooooooo..........
Something I've been wondering about since before these eggs hit the incubator (probably since I put this same pair together last year, but before I pulled the male because I decided I didn't want to deal with babies) - how difficult is it to tell a pastel super black pastel from a super pastel super black pastel?

I'm really tempted to cut this one, now that the champagne clutch pipped - they were laid just a few days apart.

I've seen pastel super blacks, and they have a silver-gray look all over instead of jet black. no idea about super/super.

I haven't seen a whole lot of pictures; but the most ones I've seen look pretty similar... to the point that I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference. Maybe it's obvious with them sitting side by side (but that would only help if I get one of each)

Buddy of mine produced these this year -- they're 8 balls, not super blacks, but the look is similar. 3 egg clutch, Black Pewter male to Cinnamon female. 0.1 pastel, 0.1 eight ball, 1.0 Pastel eight ball.

GAAAH - nothing yet.
The eggs were collapsed to the point that they were practically folded inside out; so I did break down and cut them. Movement noted in all 6; but I didn't make the holes big enough to tell with certainty what's inside. I can say that I'm pretty sure nobody has guessed correctly, yet.
I'll be pretty busy for the next couple of days - hopefully when I check the incubator Monday morning, they'll all be out.

1 - Black Pastel
2 - Black Pewter
1 - Super Pastel
1 - Super Black Pastel
1 - Pastel Super Black Pastel

:D

good luck!

I did cut; but they were small slits, not windows....
I'm stressing that because I COULD be wrong; but I didn't see anything that looked like a black pastel or a super black pastel.
There is ONE snake that has super black pastel in his description though...It's up to the guessers to decided if its a pastel super black, or a super pastel super black.
I will also say that TWO of them appeared to be black pewterish...make your calls on black pewter vs silverstreak (two I know, one I didn't see well enough to say)

I've given direct hints about 3....and, in the process, indirect hints about the other three.
I'm hoping they'll be out by Monday - any more guesses?

There is one other baby that is going in and out, but I haven't seen him more than halfway out, yet.
The look of a few of the babies has changed since I first peeked. What I thought was a silver streak now looks like a regular black pewter; and what I thought was a pastel super black is now looking more like a super black (both have darkened up a lot in the last 4 days). Even with peeking, this clutch is still giving me surprises, lol. I'll post a separate thread with pics once they're all ready.

I'll PM you - I don't want this discussion to head in a direction that isn't acceptable in the discussion areas.
