    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You got eggs. *aol chime*

i got leopard gecko eggs wootness :D
I'm incubating at 82.4 degrees (females i might do male's next clutch but that's in the future I'm more focused on these eggies.)

mack snow female Athena X super hypo carrot tail hyper xanthic male Venom

Pictures to come soon.:D:thumbsup::D:D

the smallest egg is looking good its still a little dented but it is looking pretty good, the bigger one is dented in the side dont think it is fertile but i will keep incubating it until im dead sure it isnt going to hatch.

think the smaller egg is going to be a male, temps finally settled and its 88.4 degrees inside the incubator's egg chamber i made. still incubating though. cant wait to see the little one that hatches out. other egg is starting to inflate just a tiny bit but not much. i still have hope. still have a little while to go. this is now day 10 and everything looks good. the incubation time is what 45 days? i know that is a lot of time but its what i read. guess i shall do more reading. im good with hatchlings but until they hatch i have no idea what im really doing other then checking on them, making sure they are not cold or not hot. and making sure the humidity is just right (which it is).

That's a pretty big fluctuation to go from 82.4- 88.4 in 9 days...if the temps keep fluctuating like that, you are running the risk of deformities and possibly death. Keeping a towel over your incubator and also keeping a bag of water in the incubator helps keep the temps stable. Try not to keep opening your incubator, as this just increases the temp fluxes.

Eggs that incubate at 88 degrees should hatch in about 30-40 days. At 82 degrees, they should be hatching around 60-70 days. 120 days is incredibly long for an egg to incubate. I haven't heard of a leopard gecko egg incubating for that long.

Good luck with your eggs, the wait is always the hardest part. Try to get the temp fluxes under control as best you can. 2 degrees here and there is no big deal but 7 degrees is a bit much.

Good luck with those eggs! That is a huge flux, but hopefully you caught & corrected it quick enough. Next time- set up your inc when breeding starts, so by time they are laid, you already know its stable and working properly. 1.1 ratio sounds slightly high to me, esp for vermic., but you know, you got nothing to lose. Let em cook til they DONE lol

it was set up 2 weeks before the eggs came the huge fluctuations were coming from my room so i moved the incubator down to the first floor under a table. i think next time I'm just going to put them in the front of my snake racks i have a few tubs that are empty.

day 17 my worst fears came true, the eggs died while i was out having fun with my mom at a shopping center, came home finished putting groceries away and getting ready to make the dragon's their salads i checked the eggs and found they were molded and severely dented and brown on the bottom. incubation temp is the same as it has been since fluctuations were fixed humidity same. I'm extremely sad but i understand this happens sometimes.

RIP eggies

Sorry about your loss. That's happened to me before and I hate it. Right now I have two eggs incubating on there 19th day so far there ok.
