Well, as far as the ones that are actually mine to keep I have
Autumn: she was purchased in october, and when I first got her, she had orangy red shades to her...so I thought it was fitting, an autumn leaf.
Dizzy: I was bringing him home from the pet shop and my boyfriend at the time was the one driving. He was a crazy driver, mind you. as soon as I got home with him, the little guy appeared to be a little shaken up and almost dizzy, and he actually went as far as regurgitating a cricket he had eaten right before I got him...and so it earned him his name, which I thought sounded cute.
Rocket: She was my first baby, and was quite unexpected, as 9 eggs prior to hers had either been infertile, or like her sisters, unfortunately dried out on me. I was not expecting her to survive after what had happened to the other egg, but I was hopeful so I checked daily. well...I go check one night, not expecting anything, and zoom she shoots right at me...fortunately my fast reflexes shut the lid before she got out, but the first thing that came to my head was "damn that one is as fast as a rocket!"
Although I am undecided as to which of the two I am going to keep I will tell you about Mira and Abby
Mira: the name is simply short for miracle, as her and abby's eggs were both dropped (while in their container) and flipped over after having been incubating for over a week. I did not expect them to survive, but mira was the first to hatch out. though I think something might have been rattled there as she is one crazy little gecko!
Abby: possibly due to the drop as well, she came out with an abberant pattern on her back...all the others had come out with straight horizontal lines, maybe a spot or two, but her lines were almost diagonal on her, and she had no spots. So abby is simply short for abberant. To this day her spots and pattern stand out from the others, they are bolder and bigger...
And she is quite the opposite from her sister...she is the calmest gecko ever.
