Posted At 15:41:02 02/16/2001 Hey there! Never had them shipped, but been to their store (I'm up in the Bay Area).. they have a pretty nice shop, lots of selection and the animals look pretty well cared for, it being a pet shop and all. Have you checked out Prehistoric Pets in Fountain Valley yet? They might not have BRBs there but I know with the new internet business and all they can get them shipped to their store for you. (no plug for prehistoric, they have had good and bad times in that store as far as care for the animals goes.. but I haven't lived in socal for a year now so who knows.) Also check with Strickly Reptiles or the other reptile stores there first, I bet a lot can get them shipped to the store for you that way you can check them out first and don't have to deal with them not arriving at your house alive, the store will make sure they are alive! Just some ideas... East Bay Viv is a good store with a good rep. -April |

Posted At 22:59:51 02/16/2001 I bought two Argentine Rainbows in there last May and the animals are near perfect. Granted, I didn't have anything shipped, but the animal quality is high as far as I'm concerned. Jason |

2682.html Posted At 23:20:52 04/17/2001 I never personally visited East Bay, but had friends in Berkeley that told me the store was clean. I had a matamata turtle shipped 500 miles to me in So. California. The turtle was Beautiful!!! Very healthy and great eater. Cliff at East Bay fairly represented the animal and the price was fair. I got a chance to meet Cliff at an IRBA show in San Diego and he is a very helpful reptiles guy. Thanks again Cliff. Minh. |

4170.html Posted At 16:59:45 06/06/2001 I started doing business with East Bay Vivarium in 1975, while I was attending U.C. Berkeley. I have gone in there several times as they moved around the East Bay over the years. My last visit was on my way to Oregon, that was 10 yr ago. I now live in Houston Texas and have recently gotten back into snakes. I was wondering about them 'cause I haven't seen anything on the NET about them. They had a tremendous inventory of snakes back when no one was breeding snakes. I would be interested in knowing if they have a WEB site. If you know they do please e-mail me and let me know, thanks. 4397.html Posted At 13:47:10 06/11/2001 That place is awesome. The Vivarium saved my sister's ball python, and I just barely missed getting a sweet, sweet baby water python from them. |
