About a year ago, I called these people seeking to purchase some hamsters to start breedig colonies. I was told at that time that none were available and to call back in a few weeks. I called back and was told that there were still none available. I purchased my hamsters elsewhere. I called them again this morning to order mice and rats in order to set up new breeding cages. I was treated with rudeness beyond belief. When I identified myself, I was told "Oh, yeah, I remember you. You called about hamsters awhile back." Then, I was told that they don't do business with the "general public". I know for a fact that they do because I got their number from a private party (who has no business or resale license) who whas buying from them on a weekly basis. I told them that I do indeed have a business and a resale license. Then I was told that they didn't have any rodents available to sell me and wouldn't have them until November. How can these people not have rodents to sell and they are in the rodent business? There I was, cash in hand, and they turned away my business! If these jerks chose to turn away my business, why couldn't they at least have the courtesy to just tell me that straightaway rather than treating me so rudely and giving me the runaround? Lynn, the person I spoke to on the phone, was RUDE and ABRASIVE. These people are total jerks! I have "filed" their phone number to be sure I never make the mistake of calling them again or giving their number to anyone else. I will also make sure that as many people as possible know what jerks they are. Don't waste your time (or money, if they will take it) on Kelley's Rodents. |
