OK HERE IS THE DEAL I WAS AT KINGSNAKE.COM LOOKING AT THE PYTHON SECTION AND I SAW THIS. HE SAYS THAT THE COLOR IS GRAY/WHITE AND THE ONLY SPOT ON THE SNAKE THAT IS THAT COLOR IS THE RING. WELL HERE IS MY POINT IT LOOKS LIKE HE TOOK A BLACK LIGHT TO THE ANIMAL TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE COLORFULL THAN IT IS. YOU CAN TELL BECAUSE WHERE ALL THE WHITE SHOULD E ON A BALL IS A GLOWING BLUEISH COLOR. I DONT MEAN TO CAUSE ANY TROUBLE BUT I THOUGHT THAT WAS DISHONEST. HERE IS THE LINK TO MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION.

It sure looks like a black light but it isn't. Go here: http://www.eboard.com and type in albinoturtles to view the albums. Click on the ball python fancy album and goto the last pic, open it up and see a pic of the same animal except different angle and you can see what is meant in ad. The snake looks axanthic but that is all in the lighting, it is a normal colored snake with a silver/white ring on the tail end. Sorry for any confusion but we DID NOT use a black light to enchance the photo. The whole lighting and position of the snake is what makes it look so. Snake is killer in person!!

Forgot to mention that the snake is in shed and you sometimes get a "blue" look to the snake due to the shed and the light hence the term a snake is in "blue" it just llooks bluer because of the flash and lighting.

Sure looks like a black light to me Tim. You can see the reflection off of the animals snout and some other area's. Also you can see the small particals of lint and such glowing on the platform you had the animal on, Take a better look at the picture and be honest about what you sell that is all a consumer asks for!!!!!!!!!!

That animal should have shed by now. Why not just retake the photos after the shed?
Seems to me that that is what should have been done in the first place.

And to avoid any confusion, take it outside and photograph it in sunlight.

Well what I've noticed is that the white on the chin where the scin came off is glowing blue too. How do you explain that. Looks like a blacklite to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes on furter inspection of the photo it is definatly a blacklight used to enhance the photo. I actually sent the link to a friend of mine that is a photographer and he said that there is no way that the snake could have glown like that if there wasent a black light used in the pic. Not saying that your animals arent good or that you are going to rip someone off, but i think that is very dishonest that you did that.

PS just to avoid confusion I have 2 email addresses the one at the top is:

Well, it looks to me like the lighting is off in the first picture. It also looks like the lighting is off in other pics in the album, but not the "black light" effect. And it seems possible that indoors under a flash that the "black light" effect could be possible.

Anyway, I don't see the big deal. He's selling the aberrant pattern, which the picture shows. It's simple enough to request a post-shed picture in daylight conditions. None of the other album pics look phonied up, just some taken under poor conditions.

But it IS a good idea to take pics in those conditions in the first place, to avoid this kind of thing. In fact, listing not only the lighting conditions, but the exact equipment used and making note of any variance from the true life coloration is a very good idea.
