i received what was supposed to be an 11 month old, 14 in. sandfire cross female from Marty from the kingsnake classified ads a few months ago. When I got the beardie in the mail (after being shipped to the wrong address twice already), I found a 12 in, normal-looking Male dragon in a pillowcase that was not supported in any way. Because I was expecting a female and already have males, I did not have a separate enclosure to put him in. Besides being a huge inconvience, Marty was not of any help. He did not return any calls or e=mails to explain himself and when I finally got in touch with him, he demanded that this "female" already laid eggs for him once before. This dragon is a male and is certainly not a sandfire. However, he is healthy and happy now and I am proud to take care of him. I am also glad that he is now in a good environment. However, I never heard back from Marty after several months and long distance calls trying to reach him. All I wanted was half of my money back...fair enough. He certainly wasn't professional in this situation and his service was disappointing. More importantly, it was obvious that this dragon was not in good condition or well taken care of. Do not buy from this guy!!! |

4822.html Posted At 09:57:09 06/24/2001 I sent him money for four beardies, they never showed up, even after he promised to send them. A week later he was not responding to my e-mails or IMs. I threatened to call the police near him, he promised to send my money back. Have not seen the money yet. |
