Have a question??

How long is reasonable to wait for a refund? Especially if the person who says he'll send it doesn't answer your emails or phone calls. Also when this happens should you make a "bad guy" post? I've been waiting almost a month. It's been over 2 month since I orginally sent the money. I have sent 5 emails and made 2 phone calls with no reply, since April 28th. This is after he said he'd send a refund. Do you think I may have gotten ripped off or should I keep trying to contact this person. He's supposed to be a "good guy" according to the previous posts on this board. That's why I haven't posted his name and besides I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Any advise is apprecaited.
Thanks,
Linda Demadura

~I would say you have given this person ample time to respond.
~Of course, you are not telling us why you were requesting a refund. This site can be a little "Peyton Place" (or in modern terms, I guess that would be "50210" or "Dawson's Creek"?) and there ARE always two sides to every story. (Alot of times it's the truth and the lies!)
~If you post the person's name, in a non-accusatory way, and what exactly happened, then perhaps he will be prompted to respond a bit more quickly. At least, you will be able to find out if this person has done this to anyone else.
Good Luck,
jude

Sometimes no matter how careful you are, things can sour out. Money does not die! If you sent money and received nothing then theirs a problem. The only exception would be an agreed delay. I would give it to an attorney, or consider it lost. By all means, I would post it, because this has nothing to do with Herps, but rather Theft.

I will post if it comes to that. I will be as polite and accruate as I can. He did send me a snake and a replacement snake. I had health concerns with both. The first snake died before the second arrived. The second snake showed up with the same, or appeared to to the same, problem as the first. Vet bills were incurred. I asked about a refund or exchange. He offered a refund. Just on the snake not the vet bills. I was willing to accept that. I haven't heard from his since. I will try once more to contact him today. If I can't get a reply I will post tomorrow.
