I am reposting this message per the webmasters request. He thought that my last one was a little harsh so I'll try to be more professional this time. My apologies. Those of you who frequent this board have probably read my other postings about Matt Hanlon-WS Reptiles. The reason I keep reposting is to warn newcomers to the board, who might not scroll down all the way to see the other comments, about the poor business ethic of this man. In December I won an adult female striped cal-king from Matt on herpauction. To make a long story short, about a month and a half to two months later, after rarely hearing from Matt during this time, he told me that the snake was dead. He offered me another snake, that I could not use, and I told him I would just like a refund. He said ok, then stopped returning emails. Every now and then he would return one with some stupid excuse, and then not return one again for another month.It has now been almost 7 months since I won that snake from him. I believe that he never intended on sending me a snake in the first place. In my opinion he intended just getting my money, and hoping that as time went by that I would just forget about it. He thought wrong! He still refuses to return emails, or post a rebuttle to my comments, or all the other peoples comments who have posted on my threads about Matt. Please everyone, if you have the time, scroll down the board, and read the other postings. It may save you some headaches, and heartaches in the future by deciding not to deal with this guy. Matt-you are a coward. Why don't you stand up like a man, and admit you've screwed me, and make things right. People sometimes make bad business decisions that they regret. The measure of a good businessman is wether, or not he is willing to do the right thing, make the right decision, and come clean. I'm waiting on your reply Matt. |

5021.html Posted At 16:07:26 06/29/2001 I Have delt with Matt on a few occasions.. both ways. He has bought stuff form me and I have done the same in return. He seems to be a very repectful dealer and has only quality herps that I have seen. He replys to my e-mail offers quickly and appropriatly. He ships the animals out quickly and he pays for things he says he is gunna buy from me quickly. I couldnt picture Matt doing what you have said.. but I believ you. I have seen more happy faces then sad faces after purchasing reptiles from Matt. So all I can tell him is keep up the good work. Just my two cents. |

5313.html Posted At 14:33:38 07/05/2001 Joseph, I really am glad to hear you've had positive experiences with Matt, but in my opinion you've been very lucky to not get screwed. If he is such a good guy then why would he just plain refuse to give me my money back. If you scrolled down the board, and read all the other peoples comments on my other threads about Matt that told about all the non-refunded money, and all the dead animals then maybe you would'nt do business with him. Anyway, I wish you continued success on your purchases from Matt, or anyone else. I am just trying to let everyone know about the horrible experience I had with Matt Hanlon. After that people can make up their own minds wether or not to do business with him. Have a great day! |
