I purchased a pair of Western Hognose snakes from him and 4 Medittaranian Geckos. When the package arrived the lizards were just thrown in a paper bag with no padding or anything and when I pulled them out to look at them I found them to be Texas Spiney Lizards. The kind you can catch in your back yard if you live in that area. Well to top it all off they died a few days later. One of the Hognose snakes didn't last the week. Now I know that reptiles die and I can understand that, but he called me once like I asked, but I wasn't home. I called him back 4 times and he's never there. He originally responded to my emails telling me he made a shipping mistake and was going to send out the correct geckos and now he won't even respond to my emails. I'm stuck with a Hognose snake that I can't deliver now. I have T.C. Serpents amd I had 2 seperate customers that had me track down what they wanted that paid me and now I've had to refund their money. I have a breeder pair of Hognose myself that I am not willing to part with at the low price. Basically in a nut shell I was not sent what I asked for and 5 of 6 animals that I received died within days and Tim won't even talk to me. If he makes things right I'll post it here. I wasn't looking for a refund just to get what I paid for. One last thing he ships his reptiles priority mail which could take up to two days. I only ship overnight express and most others I deal with do the same thing. |

5508.html Posted At 22:57:14 07/08/2001 if this guys email is nancambell something I have dealt wit hhim before, I bought a PAIR of ball pythons, which were really skinny, and still haven't ate on there own, and they are both males, I emailed him asking why they were so skinny, and why they were both males, well, I cannot say his exact words, but I wanted to get my money back, and he has never emailed me back, now i have two male ball pythons, that don't eat, and that are just in bad shape, I am trying my hardest to keep them healthy, but you all know how ball pythons can be... well, I just hope this Tim MCDaniel doesn't do this anymore... bye |

I could go on and on about why Tim is a "bad guy"- he advocates the slaughtering of snakes for skin products and use as "conversation pieces". That alone is reason enough to avoid doing business with him, IMO. As I said before, I find it paradoxical that someone who calls himself a herper has no qualms about killing snakes for profit. 5594.html Posted At 09:37:55 07/10/2001 Hello, I had the same with him I sent over 600.00 in trade of inverts to him he gave me a king snake that did not eat and later died a pair ( two males) of horned lizards I was suppose to get 5. they died they where very sick thowing up. collard lizards very sick chuckwallas almost dead and a pair of box turtles that where suppose to be high yellow they were regs, and a pair of desert kings that were coverd in mites I will never do any thing with him again He Ripped me off big time |

He even posted for me in my favor on June 7 th. That is alot. Thanks and I cant wait to get them. The other one is not doing so well but he is still here. The calif king is just a big baby the desert kings are very mean to be I have been struck at every time I go to hold them. What kinds of lizards do you have? I would like to buy some more I put the chuckwallas and the collards together they are in dirt I went and bought the collards make tunnles! and the chuckwallas just love going in and out they all lay and bask and drink and eat!. I really like them. Do you have any female collards? If you tell me what you have I will get money on sat june 9th if you dont mind holding the stuff I want I will buy it then, If I dont have any luck witht the desert kings would you want to trade them back? It might sound dumb but I dont like being bit at as a matter of fact the smaller of the two the one in the blue back bit me today I have marks on my hand I dont know why they dont like me. 5741.html Posted At 00:58:07 07/13/2001 ~OK, I watched this thread for a while to see if this was the same guy I dealt with...it is and I cannot believe he could be a "bad guy"! ~Back when I was searching for a male hognose snake, Tim contacted me and said he would have one for me. He did, gave me a great price on a beautiful 22" male and shipped exactly when he said he would. He followed up with me for quite awhile afterwards to be sure all was well. ~ The male was everything he said it would be, he even mentioned a small scar on it's back that DID disappear after the shed, as he said it probably would. Although, the snake was bigger than what I needed, I could not pass up the deal and I'm glad I didn't! I have had numerous offers to purchase this snake when people see it on my site. ~ so, Tim, here is my input. Sorry it took me so long. I would do business with you again with no hesitation. You were upfront with me, as I was with you. In this case, honesty bred honesty, and the result was a satisfied buyer. jude ps: If only some of these kids would learn that trying to pull a fast one never pays off. The animals that you mentioned are all domestic, and bred exclusively for the purpose of consumption. The rattlesnakes that good ol' Tim is butchering for conversation pieces are adults, taken from breeding populations- many of which have been extirpated by activities such as this. Tim mistakenly believes that he's doing his family a great service by killing rattlesnakes within X-radius. In reality though, he's doing nothing more than increasing the odds that his son will contract a rodent-borne pathogen such as hantavirus. Anyways, I hear the Sweetwater Jaycees are looking for someone to cut promos for roundups. You should give them a call. |

You did not put that you told me that you would give me other stuff but you never did, Then you said you would send TWO desert horned toads to me if I pay ! I dont think so. and that letter stuff was taken out of it and I wrote it the day after I got the stuff I even sent my best snake a burm that had nerd blood line he said he would later send me new stuff because my stuff added up to way more than his ( that was before we traded) I would not do any thing else with him. As for rattle snake killing I Dont think its right but I cant do a thing about it. Just watch out for him. Thanks |
