All you UK herpers out there, BEWARE of this guy !
He exchanged me two scrub pythons, one of which turned out to be a yellow mollucan, on was a barneck.
I exchanged a 2 yr old male Malagasy ground boa for his two.
The day before the exchange, he phoned me to say that the yellow scrub had developed a swelling 4 inch's above the vent, he said it could have been a sprain, or a chick that it had eaten! Yeh right! So, I told him that I wasn't happy at the idea of the exchange, I asked him to take it to a vet for a examination, but he said he couldn't, but if I had a problem with it, to let him know.
Well the next day, we done the exchange as I thought it could have been constipated, as he said it had come about over night, but wasn't sure, so when I got it back, booked it in to the vets in a few days time.
Well the next day, it was dead, had a PM done , vet said there was a tumour in the bowel the size of a walnut.
5 days later the Barneck dies, PM revealed on this that it had a servere case of Pnumoniea, which lead to death.
I phoned him to let him know , and he didn't know what to say, then he Texted messaged me saying his computer was broken, and that I had exchanged the snakes as seen, and knew what I was buying, I told him via a text to grow up and phone me, but he cowardly got his wife to phone and she promised me that she would send the money by the end of JULY(£300), I agreed to this, as long as she sent me a letter stating she would pay this money at the end of July, I have had know letter and have phoned up 3 times only to get a answer phone message.
I am now taking legal action to recover my snake, as I don't really think that this person and his wife should be allowed to get away with this sort of behaviour.
He has also advertised other snakes for sale including a trio of African rocks, yellow anaconda's and others, buyers beware!!!
