hi everyone, last week i posted an inquiry on Jeff Littrell from San Diego, CA. thanks to many of you who replied- some had positive experiences, others had negative. needless to say, i took my chances and sent money for some fattailed geckos. i recieved them today and was very unsatisfied. Jeff Littrell, i'll try to put this nicely. YOU WILL NEVER EVER HAVE ME AS A REPEAT CUSTOMER! the following are reasons why: 1. you stated that ALL the fattails were a month old. when i received them, only ONE seems large enough to be near this age. all the others are post hatchlings (newly born to 2 weeks of age) i know this because i have raised and bred fattailed geckos in the past. 2. you stated that ALL the fattails are "in perfect shape" with "full toes and tails". I assumed this meant that all the geckos did not have regenerated or broken tails. when i received the geckos, ONE gecko had half a tail. it had obviously dropped the other half of the tail prior to shipping because the missing half was not found in the deli cup. and dont tell me the gecko ate the other half! i am very picky with animals in my collection, i dont like imperfect animals with missing/regenerated tails, especially if they were advertised as "perfect". 3. my last reason, which is the most important, is that ONE gecko was already DEAD when i received the package. the moment i opened the box, i smelled the distinct odor of death. ironically, my part time job is actually working with a variety of animals, including dead and alive ones, and through experience i can judge the approximate time of death. i examined the body of the gecko, it had already harden with the gecko's head twisted underneath its armpit and the entire body was already starting to rot. judging from the smell and the fact that the gecko's entire body was a faint grey/blue- it is obvious to me that the animal was already dead when you boxed the geckos up! why not just be honest and tell me that one of the geckos died? i would have understood. instead, you try to ship the body of a gecko that had died 3-5 days before in a moist deli cup to try and make the body look like it had died during shipping??? pathetic. Jeff, did u say the geckos were incubated for females? HA! i dont believe you! in conclusion, Jeff Littrell sent me geckos that were falsely advertised and underaged, imperfect (one dead), and totally unsatisfactory to my standards. it will be very hard to try and regain my confidence in you. i will never ever believe another word u say. -Jonathan Ho sfgeckos@hotmail.com if anyone needs more details please email me, i'll be glad to provide further information. |

7730.html Posted At 22:33:41 08/18/2001 This guy traded me my Jungle carpet python for a pair of subadult blue tongue skinks. He forgot to tell me one was deformed and they could possibly be inbred. Nice to find out after you trade them away and have someone hound you for money. No, this guy isnt very good. Mike |

But im sorry you got scewed anyway and also to mike i got scewed the same way with the BTS also i was to get a trio of his breeders and they came in looking all messed up looking and he told me he was going to send me a CB baby to make up for it well it has been forever and no baby bts yet this guy is a sorry SOB hate to call names but truth hurts (And Jeff i hope you read this and respond i would love to hear your excuses on these posts !!!! And i wish you would find a new hobby and stop breeding reptiles . |

7782.html Posted At 10:45:48 08/19/2001 Now that there are other people here saying things about this man I will say what happened to me. I delt with him 2 times both on trades. The first time I sent him 1.1 ammies for 1.1 carpet pythons. I was very pleased with them. So A few months later I decided to do business with him again, he said he would sent me 2.3 Roti island Macklotts and a Feeding High Gold CB Ball python for a large collection of beanie babies. Well I got 1.2 Rotis, and a HALF DEAD NORMAL BALL that was about 8" long and not much fatter than a magic marker. Needless to say he died the next day. I would never do business with this man again, he is a cheater and a liar. PS You guys should report him to kingsnake.com if he gets three strikes against him he will be banned from kingsnake. I have already sent my story to the webmaster you should do the same. |

7917.html Posted At 07:40:10 08/21/2001 Although I've never dealt with this man/boy before, I AM a consumer and urge everyone who has had these horrible dealings with him to report it to Kingsnake.com. No, I'm not looking for a witch hunt, but I would hate for someone else to mistakenly buy or trade with this guy. I'm glad this board exists, because I check it often. But some people may not know it's here and will still send money faithfully to otherwise known rip-off artists. I'm sure there are other "bad guys" STILL advertising on Kingsnake.com that have somehow flown under the radar because only one or two people actually reported them to the webmaster. Niw in this business the only thing we can go on is someones word. do youreally want to go on jeffs word. come on think about this. |

8109.html Posted At 22:59:03 08/23/2001 hi all, i have tried to contact Jeff Littrell, but like everyone else that has tried and been cheated- no reply at all. i have reported him to the webmaster of kingsnake.com via email explaining the entire situtation, but haven't recieved any notice or information as to if our friend has been banned for life from kingsnake. i'm sure if more people step forward and proclaim their stories on this inquiry, i can only hope that we can all work together to make our losses a lesson to those that are unsuspecting.
