I have seen bad setups and mixing species before, but I have never seen the ignorance of mixing obviously ill animals and worse mistakes than what I saw at the WhitePlains Expo on Sunday, Septemper 9, 2001, at the Reptile Connections' booth.

They had uromastyx in with tortoises, baby monitors in with large turtles and severly sick leopard geckos that obviously had a horrible parasite like crypto or coccidia, toothpick thin tails and hipbones sticking out... MANY of them in plain grabbing distance and NOT in deli cups, which posed terrible life risks IMO to ALL the animals that were being handled at the show at other booths. This shop gives us a really bad name to all of us and, in my opinion, should be shut down for what they did. I told them how I felt, I was stunned and disgusted almost to tears.

Anyone who gets an animal from them could pose serious risk to their already healthy and establisehd animals' lives. PLEASE do not buy from those people.

I was at the White Plains Reptile Show as well and saw the conditions in the enclosures at this booth. The mixing of the species (lizards with tortoises) was bad, posign health risks for both species.

However, the group tank full of leopard gecko juveniles was the worst. The leopard geckos were rail thin, tails drastically thin and pale. I have to agree with Tracy that the condition of the leopard geckos can only be described as "seriously diseased" even to the untrained eye.
