I sent a downpayment VIA paypal and was following up with a postal money order tomorrow for the balance. We discussed the weather, flight arrangments ect....Also her guarantee for live arrival. Well today she sends me a refund for the total downpayment, minus the paypal fees that I lost and minus the other chondro I lost out on because I purchased hers. So to make along story short, she sends me a picture of this animal that was also sent to me 3 months ago during a separate inquiry. I asked if it was the same animal and of course she said no ! It even had last months date stamped right on the photo. So I ran the picture through a program I have only to find last months date was added to the picture. So I don't want to have a tit for tat contest here, this is just a lesson I wanted to share with others. TRUST YOUR INSTICTS ! I had a funny feeling about this deal from day one and should not have pursued it. Anyway watch your backs , there are some bad deals !!! |

9732.html Posted At 21:10:54 10/03/2001 i guess now its a crime to have two of the same types of snakes for sale...lmao..one three months ago i pulled off the market and another that i sold last month to another guy. geesh..shawn take a good look at those photos boy..they had different head patterns.. they are brothers.. and by the way..why didnt you ever want to talk to the guy that bought it?? the second snake...was there some reason you would not let him send you a photo = or speak to you on the phone ?you also refused to check any of my references out.. seems like alot of petty drama for absolutley no reason at all..i decided to give you your money back..without your requesting it..or wanting it..because i as a seller have the right to refuse service or product to whomever i chose..especially when they are playing games and wasting my time. |

9734.html Posted At 21:21:18 10/03/2001 I have done business with kim and her daughter and had no problems. i wish there were more people out there like them when it comes to purchasing reptiles online. for once i met someone who isnt in it for the money. she shows a lot of concern when it comes to finding good homes for the animals. i paid for a green tree about a month ago via paypal and had no problems!!! kim takes all the steps in making sure delivery is right and waits for condions to be perfect to insure the safety of the animal. i know for a fact she had 2 green trees for sale at the time when i purchased mine. if u have any questions or concerns feel free to email for further details. |

9801.html Posted At 20:22:59 10/04/2001 how about we conclude with this thought not only does a buyer need to check out his seller but a seller needs also to check out his buyer. each has the right to terminate the arrangements and or deal if they dont feel comfortable. thats exactly what i did..nothing else..i terminated the deal. my buyer lost control and you see the outcome. too bad he found it necessary to drag the herp world into his disappointment taking no responsibility for it whatsoever. i think sadly he made more of a spectacle of himself then he did of me. |

An inquiry was made because of Shawn getting the same picture purportedly of two different snakes and some other business practices and falsehoods that made him uncomfortable. The response is one of "how DARE he question Kim's reputation?". And then all the name calling starts and the spurious posts from friends of Kim. Its pretty simple. The deal went bad when Shawn made an inquiry here on the board. He was upset by what happened. Bad experience for him. It happens. Now lets all just play nice and kim and her cohorts can declare whatever sort of victory makes them feel good regardless of the facts. |
