Every so often someone has a bad experience with a breeder or a company and lets others know about it. I think its a fair practice. Enough people complain the person gets "blackballed". This Board is a godsend! Well I had a really good experience and I would like to share it so maybe the guy could get "whiteballed" I ordered two CB 2001 ball pythons that Shawn Gray of Sunbaked Serpents had on sale. His website is www.sunbakedserpents.com He answered the MANY questions I had. We agreed to the price and method of shipping. Then the WTC thing happened. No flights. And Shawn and I are sort of in the vicinity of two of the downed planes. Shawn waited until his carrier had their backlog cleared and took care of the animals I had purchased while we waited for things to clear. He updated me frequently during this week as I was VERY anxious to get my snakes. When everything was up and running Shawn sent me the male and female baby balls I ordered but threw in a THIRD female ball of the sort that he knows I would like to try and breed. At NO CHARGE. Shawn was concerened that the original two would not look so good as they were going to shed. He took the time to soak them for an hour the night before, before packing them in delicups with moist towels. So three snakes arrived at my home the next day. The packaging was the best I have ever seen in various herps I have ordered.(I actually saved the packaging in case *I* ever have to ship something) The two had shed in transit and all seemed to be healthy, colours true to the the pics, eyes sparkling. Additionally I had gotten all of them to feed just TWO days after they arrived. Since that time Shawn has been more than willing to answer questions I have had and the sort of worries a new father of three baby balls has. All in all his prices are reasonable, he backs his stuff and I will most likely do business with him in the future. I urge you to check him out. It was a pleasure to do business with him. It didn't really feel like business, more like buying from a friend that you hadn't met yet. I am in no way affiliated with his company. Just a very satisfied consumer. |

You are definetly both.It's funny how you never meet someone, but really get to know them through letters. He's honest and would bever misrepresent an animal. I've been a customer of his in the past, and I'll continue to be in the future. |
