beware www.woodensnakes.com the guy is talented but he contacted me about a trade for a 1.2 l.g.floridana breeders for one of his sticks(these were proven,and at the time had an ad up for 300.00 for the trio). i was excited and sent him the trio this was 2years ago. yes i know 2yrs.(sad huh?) he has strung me along long enough i have all the emails over the 2yrs. and will post them soon, he apperently has the time to complete several sticks for "cash" paying customers, i would strongly advise against anyone trading/bartering w/this guy,,,,,,,,thomas davis

Its a deal Ill need as many pictures as you will send of it....including the bottom scales and under the chin as well. A close up or two of the head and Ill get it as close to that exact snake as I can. It wont be perfect but it will be close as humanly possible. I ask one more thing. Yep your right, yours is well past due and it should have already been to you. I apologize that it isn’t. I thought three weeks ago I would finish it but work shot me down. All that I like on yours is the eyes and clear coat. Yes it was my idea to do the trade for the Florida’s.

You have to understand that this is a hobby for me, I NEVER in my wildest dreams ever thought it would turn into what it has. The guy that has gotten the three before you including the cobra is a collector of walking canes and he paid big money for my sticks.

Bottom line is I will finish up your stick in the next couple of days and get it to you. All I can do is offer an apology and get your stick to you.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. We have been having troubles here. I have your stick finished except the clear coat. Once I get it on and it dries I will get it out ASAP. Also I need all your contact info again. When we moved and lost the other email we lost a lot of info as well. Then compound that with our computer crashing it has been HELL the past couple of months. Long story made short I will get your stick to you shortly and will drop you an email once it is on its way. It looks like it will be Monday (24th ) that I will try to ship out.

Why not just take David up on his offer? It would lower your blood pressure, you have still alerted the public and you won't need to be completely empty handed from the deal?

Point taken. My point was not the post. I understand it's purpose..but being powerlessly angry and being enabled to find closure were what I was getting at, and someone had suggested the means for you to be empowered to handle the issue and at the same time you are alerting others about the shoddy work ethics of the seller.

Im not going to post anything on an open forum I’m not that type of person. I take it that you are going to send him your address (taking steps to resolve the issue) and in the meantime, it might be prudent to send out feelers at the P.O. to see if a forwarding address was left (just in case).

As for him filling other orders before yours..I would give the benefit of a doubt..perhaps they were first? Unless you have evidence to the contrary.

Crap? Leaving someone hangin on a trade for two years does not qualify as crap? I think Thomas has been more than patient and you could have made an effort to hold up your end of the bargain. He had told me numerous times over the past year he considered bringing this to the BOI and he waited longer than most would have to do so. You're a talented person and those sticks are amazing but the way I see it you don't have much reason to be pissed........and Thomas has every reason to be. Thomas is a regular on a few forums.......he could have been reached easily. You got yourself into this mess, now just make things right and send him something.
