    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So, my coins just expired and I wanted to re-new them and clicked on the link above that says "Want to become a contributing member of Fauna? Click Here"

I clicked "Here" and I get the following message:

Looks like that link is broken/disabled right now...I posted a few days ago about getting that same message while trying to access the membership tables.
I'm saying the link is down because I can still access the page directly via:
http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/payments.php?

Robin,

I think that is Rich's way of saying, "your money is no good here" and that he is going to give you the full $250 membership for free.

I could be wrong though.....

Thanks Harald, that link works for me too, but I will wait for Rich to weigh in to make sure that it's ok to use it!
 
btw, Rich - when I attempted to access the membership tables a few days ago, I used the same link Robin tried...it was working then. I could get to the subscription page without a problem, just not the membership tables.

First, I think you have to have a certain number of posts before the coins appear (10 maybe?).
As for why you still show as a registered member - I know for a while, there was a lag in paypal notification. Also, if you paid by e-check, it has to clear before your subscription will be activated. Last, but certainly not least, Rich has been dealing with a lot of issues since the upgrade (not to mention taking care of all his critters)...he may be running a bit behind on some things.

No worries. Rich acknowledged my PayPal payment. Let's see what happens once my post count is up. I wish I had time to post more.

Well, there were two issues here. One, as mentioned, was that the graphic icon doesn't show up till you've made 10 posts. Been meaning to change that, but so far the admin section needed to make that change hasn't jumped out and bitten me on the ankle....

As for the link being broken to the paid memberships, I just fixed that one in the header section, and my programmer fixed the one that goes from the membership medallions.

Now, what's this about the membership table not working? What link are you using for that?

Damn... I'm beginning to think that these software upgrades might be just as bad as doing a server move......... :bandhead0
 
The link works for me now.

Where is the link that tells us what each payment level can do? I stumbled across it once but can't find it now.

Thanks Rich! Just renewed for another year - I see the access to the additional forum (The Clubhouse), now I just have to wait for my coins to show up and my name to bold (as of typing this post, they weren't yet).

Hmmm, now I can no longer see reputation comments. Have they moved somewhere else? Used to be I could see them by clicking on User CP. :eek:
 
My guess is they went away with the rep power and green bars. In the other thread, Rich explained the need to zero those totals...(probably not a lot of reason to list who gave karma that isn't there anymore).
The bars still show a reputation level though.
