I saw the ad and automatically knew something was up. The title of the ad is
I contacted them to find out their shipping method since there is no way they are shipping the animals express I e-mailed them through the ads e-mail and asked which carrier they would be shipping with and below is their response.

That's exactly what I said. I wrote them a long matter of fact to the point e-mail regarding their shipping practice. I would hope that they will now change their plans and ship in a overnight service. All this shows me is that they are trying to make a quick buck and have NO CARE WHATSOEVER for the animals.

For only $12, I can get a pair of guaranteed to arrive dead frogs?! What a bargain:rolleyes:

That name sounds familiar. Are they here in Brevard, or farther inland?

Thanks for the heads up, Rob. That's just terrible! I'd say they ought to be ashamed of themselves, but I think I'd just be wasting my breath.

To top it off, their live arrival guarantee is only good on airline shipping.

I hate to think of how many people, mostly younger people I'm guessing, are going to get burned by that ad, and how many frogs are going to be given a death sentence.:mad:

From their web site they list a 407 area code that says they are farther inland than us. I think they are the one located in old town Kissimmee. They have not yet responded to my e-mail to them (and I doubt they will). I have also reported them to KS as that is Animal abuse and am seriously thinking about contacting my F&W officer and letting him be aware of their practices as they should not be allowed to sell animals if that is how they are going to ship. Just because the Cuban Tree frogs live in our backyard does not make them a disposable commodity. Those people discust me.

Well I know last night when I looked at the web page it had a 407 area code listed and today it is an 813 area code.

I'm not sure if it matches up with the area code you have but...

I'm about 85% sure Jordan Sund (ShellShop, formerly Herpetological Concepts) lives in or very close to Tampa.
