    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just received a two-year-old Pyxis a. brygooi bred and sold by Reid at SoCal Reptiles. A smoother transaction is hard to imagine! Reid was concerned about shipping when the temps in my area, central midwest, dropped last week, so we were both watching forecasts; Reid also followed the weather at the *hub* for the carrier!
The box and packaging for this tortoise were better than any I've received over the years. Everything was snug and unshiftable, the hot pack still warm upon receipt.
The tort is active and eating within hours of arriving and in good health, a fine specimen all around!
Reid is a delight to work with and a wonderful communicator! His concern, first and foremost, is for the captive-bred animal he's shipping!

Great Red Foot Hatchling

Reid is a great guy

I'm a first-time reptile owner, and Reid has answered every one of my likely stupid questions from the get-go. The Russian Tortoise he sent to us (Rocky) arrived on-time, safe, and healthy, and we've been communicating with Reid almost every day in the week since his arrival, always with quick responses. If we purchase a buddy for Rocky, we'll definitely go back to Reid.
 
My Hermann's Tortoise Baby

Reid is an excellent seller! He is right there with you during the entire transaction, quick to reply to any questions and to keeping you informed of the status thereof! I just received the most adorable, wonderful and very special TINY baby Hermann's Tortoise today.

I just recently bought 2 baby russian tortoises from Reid. He gave me many details, sent me pictures, gave me the dates they were hatched. Any questions I had he answered within 24hrs. I had to wait awhile to get them because of the weather, Reid wanted to make sure the climate was appropriate for shipping. He is a greaty guy who definately knows his. I highly recommend Reid to anyone wanting to get a tortoise or any reptile that he captive breeds.

Recieved a baby sulcata tortoise from Reid on Wednesday morning. The little guy was well packed and heat packs were included to compensate for the cooler temperatures. He arrived bright eyed and alert and has been an awesome little tort from the moment we unboxed him. I plan on going back to Reid for all my future tortoises. Would recommend him to anyone.
 
Agree with what's been posted about Reid and SoCal reptiles. Received two healthy redfoot tortoises from Reid and couldn't be happier with the ease of the transaction and the quality of the animals. As a tortoise newbie, the aftercare and advice from Reid has been very much appreciated. Thanks!
