Warning! Hello

So, a question for all the experts on Crested geckos here. I have had a gecko lay eggs about 90 days ago and one of them started to ooze. It shrunk dramatically from all the ooze coming out and is barely bigger than when they first came out. Its been about 16 hours ago. Should i "excavate" the baby out or wait?

Did it make a slit in the egg or is the egg just oozing? The fact is I am one of those people who say, if the baby was meant to be, it would have made it out. 90 days is about average for these guys, but it is not to say that it wouldnt need to incubate longer. It is obviously completely up to you on if you want to open it up, if it was trying to hatch, and 16 hours has passted, more then likely the baby has drowned in the egg.
