Good frog.

Hi I would like to know of a nice active frog that is not to exotic,I would also perfer it to be less then $30.I have kept Fire Belly Toads before and loved them but I wanted to know of other frogs/toads like these.

You live in New Jersey...

Soon you'll be able to go out and catch tree frogs in the woods. Atleast, up here in Ct we do. they like wet, low light areas in the woods... Look for mushrooms and rotting trees, they tend to hang out there. They come out from all over the place just after it rains in the early spring and late fall when it's still a bit cold out. They eat fruit flies and such..

Grey Treefrogs live in your state and they are a lot of fun to keep. Green Treefrogs and Barking Treefrogs are native to the U.S. and just as easy to maintain as Greys.
