Does anybody know if baby BDs would eat the adult BDs feces if given the opportunity?
Just one of those 'of the cuff' questions that has come about by discussing setting up an incubator and removing all the eggs from the viv.
I know that baby iggys do it as it gives them a better start in life with getting the right balance of gut bacteria (and horses do it too!), but didn't know if BDs 'should' get the opportunity for the same reason.

I have never heard of any BD breeder doing that.
Once the babies hatch they are good to go all on their own, IMO . I'd be interested to see some other members opinions on this topic.
ahhh... no.
The only reason I can think of a baby dragon eating 'poo' would be if they were hungry and they pecked it to see if it is food.
Aside from that, the only way a hatchling should have the opportunity to eat and adults 'poo' would be for you to actually give it to them. Unless you are absolutely sure that your adult has no coccidia or internal parasites which would be transferred - AND had a very good reason for doing so - I would avoid the 'poo' issue all together.
