Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Mazori rat blocks?
Does anyone know where I can get these in large bags? The stores around me only carry small bags and they're fairly expensive

Local farmer feed stores can order them. Mazuri has 3 types for rodents. No. 3,6, and 9 I believe. I pay $17 for a 50lbs bag of number 6, which they carry in stock and about $26 for 50 lbs for number 9, that needs to be ordered. If you purchase them regularly, I believe they will carry whatever you want.
If you go to mazuri web site you may be able to find a dealer near you.

The only difference between the 6F and the 9F (that I'm aware of) is the fat content. As the naming indicates, the 6F is 6% fat, and the 9F is 9% fat.
Here is a link to all of Mazuri's rodent products:
http://www.mazuri.com/Home.asp?Products=2&Opening=2
On their site you will be able to find the nutritional content for all of their products.
As for your question, either the 6F or the 9F would serve you well. I have been using the 6F, but that's simply because it is what my vendor has been carrying. If you were breeding your females really heavily, then the 9F might be better, but I'm not sure that it really makes all that much difference.

Your best bet is to try a feed/farm store that carries purina brand foods since mazuri is part of purina. They usually are able to special order the mazuri line with little difficulty since they already stock purina products. Some petstores will be nice and special order for you too, but are likely to give a much higher markup than a feed store.
Fairly recently, it became possible to order some of the rodent block formulas directly from mazuri's website and have them shipped to your house. Shipping cost is a pain though. Example: I bought a 25 lb bag of the 5663 rodent formula - $17 for the blocks and $15 for shipping (the local petsmart refused to order me a 25lb bags even though they stocked the 2 lb bags in their store!) While shipping can be a bit killer, it can still be well worth it in the long run in some instances. It certainly is a great alternative for emergencies or when you absolutely cannot find a local distributor.
